What you will do

As a Purchaser within EMS, you will work independently and report to the General Manager. You are responsible for implementing a sound purchasing policy for products and services. This includes managing the entire procurement process: from conducting negotiations to drawing up contracts and keeping the records. In this, you have a high degree of independence and responsibility. As a spider in the web, you are the point of contact for both internal and external contacts.

In the position of Buyer, you work in day shift. Your tasks and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Managing the purchasing policy of products and services;
  • Conducting market research and preparing comparisons according to the established criteria of EMS;
  • Negotiating purchase prices and terms with suppliers;
  • Managing all administrative aspects related to procurement and delivery of ordered goods;
  • Initiating orders for the supply of goods and performance of services..

  • You have hbo working and thinking level;
  • You have relevant work experience in a similar position where you have gained experience in the process of supplier selection and assessment;
  • You are communicative and can work independently as well as in a team;
  • You have a positive-critical attitude and derive satisfaction from managing the entire procurement process;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing.
