Envirometer - Stimular

Protecting the environment is very important to us. As written in the Safety chapter, environment is part of our training program, incident and near misses system and included in investment programs/projects.

We have been working with the Envirometer since 2011, we use it to gain insight in our environmental performances and to control it. Therefore, it gives great satisfaction to see the continuing improvement every year. The associated performance indicators are part of our management system (ISO9001 and ISO14001).

We have implemented several measures to improve our environmental performances and where possible we will continue doing this. With this approach, we contribute to an increasingly more sustainable environment, now and in the future.

Environment

Through recycling, waste separation and energy-saving programs, we contribute to the reduction of negative environmental impacts. On top of this, over 3000 solar panels were installed in 2019 on the roofs of our premises.

Since 2011 we have been certified with the International Standard ISO 14001 (currently version ISO 14001:2015).
