The main line of our business is the processing of higher grades of electrical steel for the transformer industry in Europe. EMS specialises in slitting Grain Oriented Electrical Steel (GOES) into sizes in widths ranging from 25mm up to 1250mm and thickness ranging from 0.18mm up to 0.60mm.

EMS' machine park consists of 3 high-end main slitters, and 2 high-end narrow width slitters, which can process master coils up to 20mt, designed to provide the best quality slit coils in today’s market. EMS slitting quality is seen as a leading standard in the world of Grain Oriented Electrical Steel (GOES).
