Machine Operator Cutting line

M/F (full-time - Shift work)

What you are going to do

As a (starting) Machine Operator Cutting line you will be trained to operate a special PLC-controlled cutting line independently. You learn how to design a transformer core, recognise and translate customer specifications and drawings to your end product. Main tasks are preparing, setting up and adjusting the cutting line for each project, feeding in and out material, carrying out quality checks (visual and with measurements), removing and packing finished products. Furthermore, you are responsible for the registration of all materials in a computer system, you keep track of all steps and malfunctions, and you consult with the work planner, engineer and other departments. You ensure that the machine is and remains in optimal condition, and you help with the maintenance of the machine. You work on a project basis in a small independent team of 2 people, within a team of +/- 25 people

What we ask

  • Education at least at MBO level 3.
  • You can work independently and have the flexibility to apply and develop your knowledge as widely as possible within the organization.
  • You have technical, spatial and mathematical insight.
  • Several years of experience in a production environment is a plus.
  • A forklift certificate, safe hoisting certificate and overhead crane are an advantage.
