Logistics Engineer
M/F (32-40 hour - day shift)
What you are going to do:
As a Logistics Engineer, you will have a lot of responsibility and freedom in your work, from researching transport movements to conducting analyses on lead times and logistics reports. Part of this role involves reporting the results to the Production Manager and making improvement proposals. You may also join an international project team at Mitsui Service Centers. During your onboarding, you will learn a lot about the processes by working hands-on. By creating and delivering internal training sessions, you will ensure that the knowledge level of the employees in the logistics department is maintained. You will work closely with various stakeholders, such as QHSE and Sales. Your documented current working methods will serve as the foundation for this. Additionally, you will help develop instructions for new processes.

What we ask
- HBO (higher professional education) level of thinking and working, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics Engineering.
- Relevant work experience in a similar role where process optimization and achieving efficient flows were central.
- You can lead project groups, are not conflict-averse, and demonstrate communication skills towards direct colleagues and the management team.
- You are proactive, take initiative, and are confident in proposing improvements, with problem-solving skills.
- You have experience and can work with relevant software, with an advanced level of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Projects). Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- You are proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
