EURO-MIT STAAL B.V., established in 1992, is specialized in processing electrical steel, mainly for the transformer industry in Europe. Having built up a good reputation for quality and reliability in this field of slitting thin gauge material, Euro-Mit Staal B.V. has been able to expand into related activities that include the slitting of tinplate, coated steel and also stainless steel, all in thinner gauge.
Operating on a just-in-time basis, the company produces the narrow sized coils of thin gauge plate material to customer's specifications by slitting master coils at its processing plant in Vlissingen-Oost.
The coils are mainly imported by sea and discharged about 500 metres from the company. End-products are basically distrubuted by roadtransport throughout Europe.
In view of its current succes and good prospects, Euro-Mit Staal B.V. is looking to encompass a wider field of business in the future.
